Some of you will be crossing into Canada soon. We crossed on June 1st at Roosville, BC (just west of Glacier NP). The Canadian agent asked if we had any eggs (we had a half dozen). He told us we would have to turn around, go back into the US (only about 100 yards) and get rid of the eggs in the US.
We turned around, had to go through US customs, that agent told us the local “Duty-Free” store (across the street) would probably take the eggs. We stopped there, they took the eggs, we went back to the Canadian entry (to a new agent), and finally got in with a few weapon’s questions and no eggs.
We had decided that if we had any problem getting rid of the eggs, we would just stop in the huge parking lot and boil the eggs.
Just a bit of current crossing news.
