Pants Stretchers

While this product was used extensively in the 1930s through the 1960s, it is still around today and is perfect for RVers who wash jeans, docker-type pants, culottes, and shorts in their RV.

Pants stretchers ensure wrinkle-free, creased pants and they reduce shrinkage. Simply insert one stretcher into each pant leg and hang to dry (a hanger is included). One pair of stretchers dries one pair of men’s or women’s pants. You can also put shorts on the pants stretchers. There’s no ironing needed after they are dry.

Pants stretchers are made from durable, no rust, chrome-plated steel. They will bend so must be handled with some care.

One place to store them is to put a small hook in the rear or side wall of a closet and just hang the empty stretchers over that. Hanging clothing will keep them somewhat stable. We keep the small hangers (that come with them) in a small plastic tub under the sink. It works.
