Safe Living in an RV
If you own an RV, at some point, you will be traveling—moving from point to point. Even the snowbirds have to move from a summer home to a winter location (e.g., Michigan to Arizona). Since you do travel—granted, some RVers travel much more than others—we want you to be safe. However, when you are traveling, you constantly find yourself in some location unfamiliar to you. Therefore, you do not know what is going on around you, that is, locally. If you are in or close to a city, you may be able to get local TV (news) but in smaller towns this is not possible. It becomes difficult to determine if an area is safe.
Also, while traveling, things do happen. Emergencies are just that—emergencies—unplanned, and cannot be avoided in many instances. Plus there are two types of emergencies—those that happen to you and those that happen to your family or friends. While you have to deal with the former, you may need to deal with the latter.
Be safe.
