Frame & Below

This topic will focus on those critically important components of all RVs that deal with and are affected by driving and ride including the weight of the RV (critical to motorhomes), tires, balance, alignment, shocks, suspension, and handling. Since these components are at work “below” the frame, hence the title of this topic is “Frame and Below.”

The major focus is on tires and coach weight as these are among the most confusing concepts to RVers. Hang in there with the information because at first it may seem overwhelming—but it is important.
